The EXT Ferro EMX fork (USD 36) — an inverted dual-crown MX-style fork purpose-built for light electric MX bikes, with the HS3 air system and a fully adjustable 3-way cartridge.
- 36mm Ø hard-chromed steel stanchions (heat-treated 42CrMo4) with Superfinish surface treatment
- Dedicated triple clamp uppers machined from 7000-series aluminum
- HS3 air spring system: twin positive air chambers + 1 large self-balancing negative chamber for consistent support through the full travel range
- Chromed steel air spring shaft with Superfinish treatment
- High-flow 3-way adjustable cartridge with independent high/low-speed compression and rebound
- External air pressure release valves on both legs to normalize pressure with ambient conditions
- Twin hexagonal floating axle, Boost compatible, Ø20mm, for maximum torsional rigidity
- Radial guide system with aeronautical seals to minimize dynamic friction under side loading
- Large piston design with separate IFP/coil-energized compression valve — no cavitation, low hysteresis
- Self-hydraulic cartridge bleeding
- Continuously Guided Bushing (CGB) system with super-long static overlap for maximum stiffness
- 205mm travel, 44mm offset for increased stability
- Weight: ~4000g · Brake: post mount 200mm
Crown option: choose "Flat" crown for a 19" front wheel or "Drop" crown for a 21" front wheel.
Tuning: selected by rider weight (120–240 lbs) and feel — Plush or Firm.
